In accordance with the Ukrainian legislative system it is necessary to pass procedure of sanitary and hygienic expertise for import and sales of cosmetic products. Conclusion of sanitary and hygienic expertise is issued by Sanitary-epidemiological agency of MOH of Ukraine and by authorized institutions after performing the expertise of documents and samples of cosmetic product.

In accordance with actual Ukrainian legislation and to avoid registration of cosmetic products with medicinal effect as cosmetics or BAS following preparations must be registered as medicinal preparations:

• cosmetic products with healing effect, those include particles of active substance in cosmetic materials that are used for prophylactic and/or treatment of skin diseases, mucous tunic of nose and mouth, genitals of the patient and have a form of cream, milk, oil, balsam, gel, powder, lotion, shampoo, lipstick, extract for shower, antiperspirant, teeth paste, elixir.
• drugs which are intended for struggle with causative agents or parasites, used for skin or mucous tunic disinfection, or for elimination of insects, mites through applying it on skin or appendages of skin (hair, nails, eyelashes).

Hence, it is very important before start of the registration procedure, to professionally classify the product.

Expertise that is performed for issue of the sanitary and hygienic conclusions includes expertise of documentation and quality assurance in laboratory (laboratory tests).

Description of procedure

1. Consulting service about registration of cosmetic products.
2. After you decided to register the products with our help - we sign the CDA (Confidential Agreement).
3. You transfer the dossier(s) to our office, so we can perform the primary control of the information.
4. We carefully look through the dossier (app. 3-5 days from documents delivery), prepare the list of missing documents and define the amount of work that has to be done.
5. We announce the primary price and negotiate on discounts and terms of payment; if they are suitable for you - we start registration procedure, if not - we send you back all received documentation. First installment (80%) for services of "Patern Ltd."
6. We perform the translation of the dossier, combine it in accordance with local requirements, and prepare the missing documentation.
7. We submit Application and dossier to authorized institution of MOH of Ukraine.
8. We’re accompanying of the dossier during expertise.
9. We send you request for samples perform custom clearance.
10. Full expertise of the dossier and adoption of the product.
11. After issue of sanitary and hygienic conclusion we send it to you by any world courier, and you make the second contribution (20%).
